Environmental Policy

 

Citywatch Security Services Limited believes that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner. We are therefore committed, as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods, to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance.We will adopt environmentally responsible policies and practices and will regularly review both our performance and the inherent scope for further improvements.  Citywatch aims, through continuous staff awareness and training, to create and maintain the highest levels of environmental responsibility.

 

All Citywatch staff have a responsibility towards the environment in which they live and work.  A responsible attitude and commitment to the Company's objectives is expected.

 

Our policy is to:

• Wholly support and comply with or exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice.
• Strive to adopt the highest possible environmental standards in all our operations, wherever these are located.
• Minimise energy and water usage in order to conserve supplies and minimise our consumption of natural resources, particularly where they are non-renewable
• Commit to the continual improvement of preventing pollution
• As far as possible purchase products and services that does the least damage to the environment.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles with due regard to environmental issues as far as reasonably practical and encourage the use of alternative means of transport and car sharing as appropriate.
• Keep fully informed of best practices elsewhere.
• Minimise the waste produced in all parts of our business and reuse or recycle as much of it as possible.
• Encourage similar environmental standards to be achieved by all third parties involved with our business.
•  Ensure all employees understand our environmental policy and encourage their involvement in positive environmental action to the highest possible standards.
• Regularly assess the environmental impact of all our operations.
•  Communicate our policy to all stakeholders including customers and employees.
• Assess in advance the environmental impact of any new processes or products that we intend to introduce
• Address complaints about any breach of our Environmental Policy promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned
